RUBBER AND CERAMIC PIPE LININGS

RUBBER AND CERAMIC PIPE LININGS

We are going to explain the processes. When we handle the rubber lining of pipes, we are referring to the process of applying a layer of natural or synthetic rubber to the inside or outside of a metal pipe to protect it against wear and corrosion. This process provides: Abrasion protection, chemical protection, and extended service life. Its primary use is industrial, particularly in mining, chemical plants, and water treatment facilities.

At TTI North America, we also perform ceramic lining for industrial pipes. This process consists of securing alumina pieces or another ceramic compound to the inside of the pipe to protect it against wear and corrosion. The process consists of: Surface Preparation, Adhesive Selection and Mixing, Ceramic Piece Installation, Curing, and Inspection.+
